There’s nothing that shuts down an opportunity or situation like a bad attitude. I think we all understand this, on some level. But how do you get out of a bad attitude when you are currently in one?

Stepping away and getting some perspective helps. Getting out of the environment your grumpy in can help you figure out what precisely is the cause (if anything).
Resetting your expectations helps. There’s nothing like having unmet expectations to sour a situation.
Gratitude helps. Shifting your attention away from what’s making you angry or unhappy and instead focusing on what does make you happy. It’s not that you are overwriting the negative, just choosing to enjoy optimism first.
