Now, Not Later

“One day you will wake up and there won’t be any more time to do the things you’ve always wanted. Do it now.” — Paulo Coelho

We all have these things that we want to do but delay ourselves from it because we don’t think we are ready yet, or feel shy, or inexperienced or don’t have the time or money yet. Some call this the deferred life plan. “I’ll do what I really want to do, after I do what I have to do.”

Sure, some things require a certain order. You can’t be a senior designer without first being a beginner designer.

But in reality, do we really have to do what we think we have to do?

For a moment, Reframe the idea:

If you followed the path you really wanted (as a career, or passion) what would your life need to look like? What if you did it first, and figured out the rest of your needs after?

The best reason to raise your hand is to ask a question, not to answer a question.

STAY BOLD, Keep Pursuing,
