It’s funny being a little older (I’m thirty) and seeing the difference in priority between myself, college students, and people in their late thirties. The other day, I was at a coffee shop and overheard a student being excited about being ok’d enough to drink.

It’s a right of passage for sure, but it’s so removed from my list of priorities I forgot that needing to be legal to drink was a thing.

Not to yuck someone else’s yum. I just found it funny how different 5-10 years can make. I don’t bat an eye at drinking nowadays, but I don’t drink very often anyway.

Sometimes we take things for granted what’s normal for us is completely special or abnormal for someone else.

Having different priorities in life naturally happen depending on what you are trying to accomplish in your life and the environment you are currently in.

It’s good to assess and reassess what your current actions are prioritizing.

Are you prioritizing your current and future goals /dreams or are you allowing your past priorities to run your life?
