Be Genuine

One principle that’s helped me navigate life is to be genuine.

Being genuine can be a lot of qualities.

It means learning who you are, knowing what you like, dislike and value, and making decisions based on those criteria. It also means owning up to mistakes and being willing to change when you realize when something you like or uphold is flawed and in need of an update.

Being genuine is doing what you say, and only saying what you do.

It means having the courage to speak out and stand up for your values (while simultaneously being open-minded to other’s opinions and values.)

Sometimes that means politely stepping on people’s toes or respectfully disagreeing when the need arises.

Being genuine means being unashamedly passionate about what you love.

STAY BOLD, Keep Pursuing,
