Clean Habits

We often approach a habit we want to do (or stop doing) with the weight of our entire dreams and experiences.

A simple trip to the gym because of an amalgamation of unrequited dreams and expectations.

This pressure to live up to a certain standard, or get back what we lost, or find success becomes overwhelming.

This leads to a reluctance to actually do it if we try at all.

We want to eat healthy or start a business, but put so much pressure on ourselves we don’t. Maybe tomorrow.

But if we take all the expectations, past failures, and critical thoughts and just let it all go, lifting it off our shoulders, we will see a much clearer and closer way forward.

We don’t have to be perfect. We don’t have to fix our lives in a day. We just have to try a little bit more today. And a little bit more tomorrow. And have fun experimenting and following what we want.
