Shut up and listen

“…When the lips are silent, the heart has a hundred tongues.”

Rumi

Sometimes, the answer is already there, waiting for you to hear it, to listen for it.

When was the last time you were truly alone with yourself?
No podcasts, no music, no distractions, just you and you.

The majority of the time, we already know what the decision is, what we really want, what’s missing, what’s bothering us, we just not listening for it, or the outside world is drowning out it.

Take some time this week and have a silent retreat.
Find somewhere quiet, bring a notebook and pen.
Listen.
