Plugging Into What Matters

“Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes — including you.”
— Anne Lamott

Today has been a long one, friends. (literally and figuratively)

Gabriella and I are in LA for the week.

I got her a Moxi Skate Camp ticket, so I’m out here tagging along, spending too much money on coffee and food… you know.

I feel some change coming. (No, not puberty, smart *ss)

In truth, things are constantly changing. Change happens in front of us without us usually noticing. It builds and accumulates.

This change I’m feeling is like that. I don’t have the words for it yet, but it comes and goes like waves on my mind.

Hopes, dreams, problems, worry, fear, resolve…

You always hear of the phrase, “Be the change you wish to see in the world”, but I like to say be the change you wish to see in yourself. Redundant, but important. The idea is essentially that who you want to be needs to align with what you do.

I’m carving out some time this week to sit with myself to get a better understanding of what the heck I’m trying to say.

STAY BOLD, Keep Pursuing,
