Embrace it 

You can either hate what happens to you or embrace it.

You don’t have to like that it happened to you, but dwelling on it is allowing it to rule over your days as if it’s happening to you over and over again.

We must embrace what’s happened in our past, and allow it to infuse into our journey. Would I have rather not injured my neck? Of course, but now it is a part of my story.  I could drown in the suffering, or I could use it and let it give me a new perspective on others that I never knew.

You could get angry when someone cuts you off in traffic or says something mean to you.

You could be discouraged when someone tells you can’t do something.

You could be disappointed with a failure.

Or you could embrace the circumstances and let it change you a tiny bit and help you become better.

Embrace it, infuse it, and pursue a better future for tomorrow.
