When It comes to creativity and entrepreneurship, there are no fixed paths to success and fulfillment.
Certainly there are better ways to do things, and people who have been-there-and-done-that and can show you how to navigate your way through.
But you haven’t been there and done that. Where you’re going there are no roads. Which is exciting and terrifying and risky! And oh so necessary.
No roads means fresh perspectives and freedom to create anything you imagine.
Sure there, are tools we can take with us:
Listen and treat others with respect. No matter who they are and where they came from.
Always give your maximum effort. I always think its better to try and fail, than not try at all. But half*ssing It — and knowing you’re half*ssing It is just as bad as doing nothing.
Treat yourself with respect. Rest when you need to. Eat right and move. Hunch-backing over a desk all day everyday will catch up to you eventually. Build up your self-esteem and be confident in yourself. Learn to love yourself, because success amplifies who you are, and if you don’t love yourself when you’re broke, you’re going to be even more miserable when you’re wealthy.
Be bold. Never let the fear win. Creative fears are challenges in disguise. Jumping into our discomfort zone is precisely how we break down our barriers and expand into better versions of ourselves.
In the end, lack of direction shouldn’t be feared, rather something we learn to respect and be excited about. You’ll never be as happy as you are while you’re on the journey versus at the end of the journey. And if you’re really good you’ll make the journey last a lifetime.
Stay BOLD, Keep Pursuing,
