I always seem to default to trying to solve my problems on my own. I fight tough and nail to fix things, practically kill myself in the process, and for what?
So I can be a self-learner? Self-starter? Self-lifer?
You were not put on this earth to go through life alone. Some problems you are facing are bigger than you. To create real change — the kind of change that makes waves, and sparks revolutions — happens when we’re facing them on together. What can one soldier do against an entire army?
This isn’t a woo-woo plea for us to hold hands and cry together.
yet… sometimes maybe we do need to cry together or to have someone to go to when the world gets tough, and everything around feels stale or overwhelming.
Who do you turn to when your back is against the wall?
If it’s just yourself, you might have some self-reflecting to do.
There is no weakness in advice. In fact, seeking advice is wisdom and a strength.
Seeking knowledge that others have is the epitome of shortcutting your way to success.
Build a ragtag group of friends and family around you that will guide you through accomplishments and failures.
Never let someone tell you no when deep down in your gut you no the answer is yes.
Always be open to council when you don’t know what the h-to-the-ell you are doing.
