Don’t compare your current performance to your past performance.
Trying to get back to your glory days is not going to motivate you to be who you want to be, rather a reminder and perhaps even burden of what you were.
We know this intuitively, but it’s difficult to practice.
Aim for a better performance with your current self.
To do so, focus on what traits matter to you, energy, care, intention, connections, quality, and then break them down into actionable steps in your daily life.
