For me,
I strive to counterbalance life with tranquility of present —
and determination and fire for a better future. A better me.
A great life is a counterbalance of tranquility and tension.
Tranquility
in who I am — my present —
and who I was — my past.
The problem is, it’s easy to bottle up things. Like little secrets hidden away without actually intending to do so.
To bottle up failures, mistakes, frustration, fears, and pain that others caused — intentionally or not.
We have to let go.
It’s difficult, if not impossible to move forward, with our past dragging behind.
Close your eyes, think of each pain you’re holding on to, tell them you have to let go,
and then release them into the air. Let them float away, like a balloon run free.
Tension
In who I want to be.
Knowing that I can be better —
not because I hate who I am, but because I want to be the best me I can be.
And the best me takes tension to grow into my own —
By humbling myself. By building my future each today. By actually enjoying today and where I am. By fighting for my dreams, with any means necessary.
Your future is built on today. each day. Your best self is waiting.
If you’re doing what you can, with what you have, where you are’, it’s just a matter of time and patience.
