For the Love of Friends

I’ve been starting to treat my close friends like we are dating. Not in a creepy, I’m-pretending-to-be-your-friend-but-secretly-want-to-date-you kind of way. (If you find yourself in that situation, just ASK THEM OUT for dinner. The worst they can say is no. It’s not like they are going to tweet it)

I’m talking about friends that I enjoy spending time with and who push me to be a better creative me. So why not make it count and court them like they are the best thing in the world?

In a world of where most of our interaction consists of thumbs up or double taps (maybe even an emoji every so often), treating your friends with respect, intention, selfless and love will make you look like a god in their eyes. Not that making yourself look good is the point. The goal is built a group of deep friends around you that will help you grow and be by your side even on your worst days.
