MLK: The Power of Belief.
"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; Only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; Only love can do that."
MLK wasn't the only one who had a dream that day,
but he was the one who inspired others to rise up -
to be more than they were.
Belief is a powerful thing.
MLK believed in conquering hate so strongly his conviction and resolve lit the way for others.
His love over hate mentality was irresistible.
That's how I want to live. That's how we should all strive to live.
I want my belief, passion and desire for excellence and a life worthwhile inspire others to relentlessly pursue the same.
I'm not trying to compare myself to MLK, (believe me, I have a long way to go) but I do know - like him - we all also facing our own problems -
battles we want to push past, with flying colors. 'We are measured by where we stand, at times of challenge and controversy.'
Take a page from MLK's history and believe in yourself, and your dream.
Love yourself. Love your enemy.
And resolve to fight.
